Ok so at the end of June our family moved to a small city called Meadow lake SK. This is our new adventure. Being as I lived in Saskatoon for most of my life and my children have never lived anywhere else, this is all new to us. My husband has lived in quite a few places.

It is now three weeks we have been here and I have to say I love it! The air is fresher there are forests and lake all around. We are farther north so at 4 AM there is light from the north almost like the sun is rising from the north instead of the east. In the fall and spring the northern lights are so bright and colorful!

Only a few incidents have happened. First of all is when we started our move one of our cats disappeared and we had to leave without him. This was heart wrenching! But thankfully a week later my old neighbor found him and we got him back. All of our cats have changed they are happier, more lovable and very playful. My cat who was very aloof is now always by my side wanting loves and cuddles.

The next thing that happened was my van was left unlocked and the only thing missing was my ashtray! LMAO not the CD in my glove box or the change in my holder but my ashtray, This was too funny!

It's more peaceful, less stressful and safer here.

Our new adventure came with the new job my husband has. He is a distributor for a snack company and he delivers mostly 3-4 hours north. This position has given me the opportunity to be a stay at home mom, I went on a delivery with him and the landscape is breath taking. Unfortunately I wont be able to go with him again for a few months as I have a torn ligament in my shoulder and am having surgery on Aug. 9th, which also happens to be our wedding anniversary.

But I at least I was able to see Buffalo Narrows in the day light and the lake is gorgeous. I went there one time with my mother to delivers some supplies to her husband for a job he was doing up there that's when I saw the northern lights, but we were only there for an hour in the middle of the night and went back to Saskatoon.

If you want to see beautiful landscapes and gorgeous lakes I recommend going up north.

How I long for supernatural powers!

said the novice mournfully to the holy one.
I see a dead child
and I long to say, Arise!
I see a sick man
I long to say, Be healed!
I see a bent old woman
I long to say, Walk straight!
Alas, I feel like a dead stick in paradise.
Master, can you confer on me
supernatural powers?

The old man shook his head fretfully
How long have I been with you
and you know nothing?
How long have you known me
and learned nothing?
Listen; I have walked the earth for 80 years
I have never raised a dead child
I have never healed a sick man
I have never straightened an old woman's spine

Children die
men grow sick
the aged fall
under a stigma of frost

And what is that to you or me
but the turn of the wheel
but the way of the world
but the gateway to paradise?

Supernatural powers!
Then you would play God
would psin the thread of life and measure the thread
5 years, 50 years, 80 years
and cut the thread?

Supernatural powers!
I have wandered the earth for 80 years
I confess to you,
sprout without root
root without flower
I know nothing of supernatural powers
I have yet to perfect my natural powers!

to see and not be seduced
to hear and not be deafened
to taste and not be eaten
to touch and not be bought

But you-
would you walk on water
would you master the air
would you swallow fire?

Go talk with the dolphins
they will teach you glibly
how to grow gills

Go listen to eagles
they will hatch you, nest you
eaglet and airman

Go join the circus
those tricksters will train you
in deception for dimes-

Bird man, bag man, poor fish
spouting fire, moon crawling
at sea forever-
supernatural powers!

Do you seek miracles?
listen- go
draw water, hew wood
break stones-
how miraculous!

Listen; blessed is the one
who walks the earth 5 year, 50 years, 80 years
and deceives no one
and curses no one
and kills no one

On such a one
the angels whisper in wonder,
behold the irresistible power
of natural powers-
of height, of joy, of soul, of non belittling!

You dry stick-
in the crude soil of this world
spring, root, leaf, flower!

trace
around and around
and around-
an inch, a mile, the world's green extent,-
a liberated zone
of paradise!

Ok so my son is sick, has been for a couple of days, He coughed so hard he thew up. Well at about 3am he started running a fever *sigh* no sleep for me. To make matters worse my daughter came home from school yesterday and went straight to bed. She started throwing up *sigh* another one sick.

So it is now 5:11 am and I've slept maybe 3 hours, and I am bored and tired. My husband came home from work at 4:30am and brought me Timmies YAY! For those of you who don't know what Timmies is, it's Tim Horton's coffee only THE BEST coffee anywhere! That helps my mood! So what do I do now? Twitter? Not many people on. Facebook? I've already played my games. EBAY? OMG no I need EBAY intervention! Well maybe I will just google my way around the internet and see if I find anything interesting. Any ideas on what to do when you can't sleep please comment. Thanx!

April 20th

Well again I haven't posted anything LOL, laziness? maybe. Today I have a sick child at home, and 2 teenagers that were fighting before school. *sigh*. I wonder why siblings only get along when there are chores to be done? That was my night last night, trying to get them to do their chores. What a battle! Oh well what can you do.

I learned this morning that the Brooke Shields I am following on Twitter may be a fake! How disappointing! One thing that pisses me off is people out there intending to impersonate and destroy characters of others. What does that gain? Really? C'mon now let's grow up! I really like Twitter but it's the "Trolls" that make it annoying. Only thing I can say is "BLOCK"!

Well nothing else to say for now.

Twitterific

Well I haven't written anything at all in awhile.  It is now 3:44 am and I am not sleeping again!. I have been having problems sleeping for a few days now. My brain just won't shut down. So I have been Twittering. Twitter is fascinating, it is amazing who you can follow. Allot of the "celebs" out there don't answer back, but some do.

Brooke Shields is a wonderful down-to-earth lady who is sweet and she does respond. This woman has such a good natured attitude it's no wonder she has so many adoring fans. She loves all her followers.

John Cusack has only responded to me once. I have new respect for the man, I have found him very intriguing. The man is brilliant and passionate on his beliefs, and doesn't care what he says or has any problems speaking his opinions. To me that is wonderful. We shouldn't be afraid to say what is on our mind or how we feel.  Although he seems to be picky on who he follows and answers back I will still follow because reading his tweets are fun and inspirational.

Another lady I have chatted with is Angie Raulerson a Nashville singer and a Doctor of Naturopathy. This lady is absolutely adorable and sweet. She is a real talent and good heart you can check her out at http://www.angieraulerson.net

Jim Carrey is another who isn't afraid to speak his mind as we all know with his recent news about his split up with Jenny McCarthy. His post can be really funny and there is no way you can censor this man nor should anyone do so. Free speech Jim!

Kisrtie Alley is a hoot. This woman's posts are funny she is "real" I love her and give her a huge applause for her show and what she is trying to accomplish ... "Way to go Kirstie!"

Anyways I had better try and get a couple of hours sleep. Blog and Twitter later folks!

First post.

This is my first ever blog, I don't know what I am doing so I will just write. This blog is going to be about life, problems, stories, family and whatever happens in life.
